BEFORE ARRIVING: Please contact the basecamp at least the day prior to your intended arrival so we can include you in a team and put your name on the dinner list.  If possible, you should aim to arrive prior to 5pm.

BREAKFAST: From 6:30am

MUSTER:  7:00am  Mandatory for all volunteers working that day.

MEALS:  Meals are provided for volunteers, but please bring your own snacks. Breakfast and a nourishing two-course evening meal are provided by BlazeAid (with help from local community groups) at the basecamp.

BlazeAid provides food for you to make your own lunches/sandwiches to take with you.

Please discuss any special dietary needs before arrival, we may be able to cater to some, but not all, dietary requirements.

AMENITIES: Bring you own Caravan/Camper/Tents/Swags, Showers and Toilets provided.
For those who don’t have a caravan, etc, we have “pods”, which are like a rigid tent. You can stand in them, they have a bed, and seal against the weather. They have electric light and power points. Please enquire when you call.
The camp has a well equipped laundry (washers and dryers)PPE High-vis vests are supplied, as are gloves and eye protection. You need to bring strong footwear, preferably long sleeves and long trousers (safety, sun and snake protection).

TOOLS,EQUIPMENT & VEHICLES: Cobargo basecamp is well equipped with all tools for fencing. There is no need to bring any tools. All travel to work-sites is done in BlazeAid vehicles. BlazeAid has robust trailers.

CLOTHING Bring weather-appropriate work clothing. Evenings can be cool, even in summer.
THE AREA Cobargo is close to Bermagui and the coast. It is picturesque. You may have an opportunity to visit these, and even get in an ocean swim.
