Thank you for enquiring about fundraising for us! BlazeAid is very grateful for any donations generated through public fundraising activities.  

If you want to fundraise for BlazeAid, here are some steps you can follow:

• Seek permission to use BlazeAid’s logo: You need to contact BlazeAid’s head office and request a written approval to use their logo for your fundraising activity. You can email them at admin@blazeaid.com.au or call Debbie (0418990267) or Melissa (0436 316 955) for approval. You should also follow BlazeAid’s values of Transparency, Empathy, Honesty, Integrity and Trust to ensure you represent BlazeAid appropriately.

• Create a proposal for your fundraising activity: You need to plan and organise your fundraising activity, such as a bake sale, a raffle, a concert or fair, a trivia night, etc. You should include details such as the date, time, location, target audience, expected income, and how you will promote your event. You should also consider any legal, ethical, and safety issues that may arise from your activity.

• Email your proposal to BlazeAid’s head office: You need to send your proposal to admin@blazeaid.com.au at least two weeks before your planned activity. You should also attach a copy of your permission letter to use BlazeAid’s logo. BlazeAid will review your proposal and provide you with feedback and support if needed. We will also send you a receipt book or bank deposit slip to collect and transfer the funds you raise if you need.

• Conduct your fundraising activity and report back to BlazeAid: You need to carry out your fundraising activity according to your proposal and BlazeAid’s guidelines. You should also keep records of your income raised, and thank your donors and supporters. After your activity, you need to email BlazeAid a summary of your results, including the total amount raised, the number of participants, and any feedback or suggestions. You also need to deposit the funds into BlazeAid’s bank account and return the receipt book and the deposit slip to BlazeAid’s head office if used.
